Shipping & Returns Policy

SHIPPING POLICY
Orders ship within 3-5 business days. You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order ships. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact hello@studiosashiko.com and provide your order confirmation. All orders are shipped from our studio location in British Columbia, Canada via Canada Post.

 

DUTIES AND TAXES
Canada
For orders that are placed within Canada, customers will be charged federal and provincial sales taxes -- these depend on which province the order is being shipped to. As Studio Sashiko is a British Columbia based company, Canadian orders will not be subjected to any duties upon delivery as the shipment is not traversing any borders.

International
Please note that all international orders are shipped delivery duties unpaid (DDU). Customs, duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. When you place an international order, you agree to pay any applicable customs, duties, or taxes imposed by your country.
Unfortunately, we cannot calculate these charges prior to your order being placed, and are unable to cover them for customers. Any applicable fees will be collected from you by the carrier upon delivery. If duties and taxes are not paid for by the customer and there is a refusal upon delivery, customers will not be reimbursed for their order.

United States
All orders are shipped from our studio location in British Columbia, Canada. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that this sale occurs outside the United States, and that you are importing your order for non-commercial (personal) use. You also acknowledge that you will be listed as the importer for US Customs and Border Protection purposes and that your order will be imported into the United States in accordance with the necessary customs requirements.

 

RETURN POLICY
To return one or more items from an order:

  • The return must be requested within 30 days of the delivery date
  • The item must be in its original, unused, unaltered and unwashed condition
  • The item must be returned with the tags and packaging in their original condition

Please note: Final Sale items are not eligible for return.
Accessories (jewelry, hair): must be returned in their original packaging, unused, unaltered, and sealed.
Apparel: all original tags must still be attached to the garment(s). Be mindful of deodorant, makeup or perfume that may rub off, and beware of jewelry that may catch or tear fabric.
Beauty (face, body, hair): must be returned in their original packaging, unused, unaltered, and sealed.
Objects (candles, ceramics): must be returned in their original packaging, unused, unaltered, and sealed.
Damaged/defective items: if you believe an item to be defective or damaged, please contact hello@studiosashiko.com so that they can help resolve the issue.
Studio Sashiko reserves the right to reject any returning products that do not comply with the above stated return policy. Rejected items will be sent back to the original shipping address. In order to avoid this, please contact hello@studiosashiko.com to address any issues or concerns you have regarding the item(s) you wish to return.

 

EXCHANGES
Studio Sashiko does not offer direct exchanges. We ask that you return the merchandise for a full refund and place a new order for the preferred item(s) at your earliest convenience.

 

REFUNDS
Once the returned merchandise has been quality checked and approved, Studio Sashiko will issue a refund to the original method of payment. Please note that it can take up to 7 business days to process the refund. It may take your financial institution additional time to process the transaction and update your bank statement.

Please note: shipping fees will not be refunded.
