Limited Edition

We have always been inspired by traditional Japanese Shibori dyed garments. This technique embellishes textures by shaping cloth and securing it by binding or knotting before dying it. The natural pink tone of these pieces comes from using the skins and pits of avocados. Each piece of fabric was hand tied with over 70 bands and dyed for 12-24 hrs -- a meticulous project with an incredibly rewarding result.
