Nicole has always had a passion for realism art in many forms, having a special talent for portrait drawings. With her skills and what she has learned as an artist, changing her medium to tattooing was a natural transition. She received her cosmetic tattoo training in Chicago, Illinois. Nicole ran a private cosmetic tattoo studio for a couple of years in Downtown Vancouver before being welcomed to join Studio Sashiko in July 2017. Nicole also has a background in makeup with a Master Makeup Artistry Diploma from Blanche MacDonald, which has provided her with a detailed understanding of facial structure and the knowledge of how to achieve symmetry and balance to one’s face with subtle adjustments.
