COVID-19 Protocol

LANGLEY STUDIO

We have re-opened our Langley studio as of May 25th, 2020. We are taking this opportunity to notify you of the new protocol we have put in place and additional precautions we are taking to ensure a safe environment for both our staff and customers upon our reopening.

We will only be rescheduling LOCAL CLIENTS whose appointments were affected by the closure at this time. As per the BC Government’s requirements, we are unable to begin booking clients travelling from out of province/out of country until further notice. If you are travelling, you will remain on our cancellation list and will be contacted once we are allowed to rebook your appointment.

As we work our way through our cancellation list, we ask that you please do not email us or your artist to schedule your appointment. Either the studio or your artist will be reaching out to you directly as we work through our list in order, to ensure those who were first affected by the closure will be the first to be accommodated.

Please note that if you are rescheduling a follow up appointment that goes beyond our usual allotted time frame, we will honor the price until the appointment is rescheduled. If you are rescheduling a new appointment, your deposit will be held and transferred to the rescheduled appointment.

If you are feeling anxious about scheduling/coming to your appointment, we kindly ask you please reschedule to a later date until you feel more comfortable.

The safety of our staff and our valued clients has always been our top priority. We have always adhered to the highest standards in sanitation/sterilization and will continue to strictly follow our local health authority.

Just as we are asking our staff to take these necessary steps, it is also crucial that our clients follow what we are asking as well to ensure we can continue to serve you in the best and safest way possible.

New Protocol for Clients:

You must complete our consultation/waiver form and additional COVID-19 health form (sent to you via SMS) prior to your arrival.

All clients are required to bring their own face mask to their appointment. Due to stock we cannot guarantee to always have a mask available for you.

The door will be locked upon your arrival as we will be operating by appointment only (no walk-ins for retail sales).

All clients are required to have their temperature checked at the door (contactless). If you are over 38 degrees celsius you will be turned away and required to reschedule.

We will not have a waiting area and ask that you please wait in your car until your artist is ready for you (we will call you).

Friends or family members will not be allowed to accompany you to your appointment.

Elderly or those needing support/assistance are permitted to be accompanied by their caregiver, but caregivers will have to wait outside of the studio for the duration of your appointment.

We will allow you to have your car keys, jacket, wallet (or small handbag), and phone with you in the studio. All other personal belongings must be left in your car.

Hand washing/sanitizing stations are provided. Clients must hand-sanitize both upon arrival and prior to leaving.

You must keep your phone in a wash bottle bag that we will provide.

We will no longer be offering beverages to clients. Food and drink are not permitted inside the studio.

If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing symptoms of any sort, you must reschedule your appointment.

TRAVELLING CLIENTS: If you have travelled at all within a month, you must reschedule your appointment. If you need to travel to us for your appointment (from outside of BC), please reschedule your appointment.

We will be accepting CONTACTLESS PAYMENT only. This means we will not accept cash until further notice. Debit, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted, and the use of tap, if available, is preferred.***

If browsing our retail, please refrain from touching or trying on the items. Ask our front staff to assist you if you intend to purchase.

New Service Protocol:

Physical distancing (6ft apart) will be implemented wherever possible and we ask that our customers follow this as well.

Beds/stations will be placed further than 6ft. apart.

Barriers and protective materials/equipment will be used on all necessary areas, especially those where physical distancing cannot be maintained.

Artists and front staff will be wearing PPE, and additional PPE will be worn by the artists.

All PPE will continue to be disposed of in the safe and correct manner.

Hand washing is a requirement between each client and as needed during each procedure.

There will be a limited number of clients in the studio per day per artist with 30 minute gaps between appointments to allow for the continued use of appropriate disinfectants and additional deep cleaning of all stations and high-contact areas between each client.

Washroom will be cleaned and disinfected at least every hour and/or after each use.

Updated Policies:

Please note that if you do not cooperate or refuse to follow any of the protocol we have in place, we will not be performing your service and you will be asked to leave.

If you are rescheduling a follow up appointment that goes beyond our usual allotted time frame, we will honour the price until the appointment is rescheduled.

If you are rescheduling a new appointment, your deposit will be held and transferred to the rescheduled appointment.

In the event an artist develops symptoms at work, they will be sent home immediately. We will gather together the names of the clients they’ve worked with and contact our local department of health. If your appointment is affected by this you will be rescheduled with your same artist once they are able to return to work; appointments will NOT be transferred to another artist.

For the time being, we will be voiding our cancellation policy. We would appreciate it if you could try to provide 48 hours notice to make any changes to your appointment, but times are different now! If any of the aforementioned symptoms or points apply to you, please contact us immediately, even if this is RIGHT BEFORE your appointment.

Please continue to contact your artist directly if you have questions regarding your appointment or to schedule/reschedule an appointment. Their emails have been provided below:

Remember this is new for us too. We kindly ask that you please respect these changes as they have been implemented in the best interest of everyone and we will continue to closely follow the recommendations for our industry from our local health authorities and Government bodies.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out or email your artist directly.

Thank you for doing your part to ensure both your own safety and the safety of those around you. We hope you are well, and staying as happy and healthy as possible. We look forward to seeing you in the studio again soon.
